The KEPANI standard milling t-shirt, which has been loved for many years for both short and long sleeves, is now available in a henley neck version. The reason for its popularity is the comfortable fit created by the high elasticity of the Raffy spun milling fabric, which is spun with mixed raffy yarn and stretch yarn in the weft direction. The reason for its popularity is the comfortable fit created by the highly stretchy Raffy spun milling fabric, which is spun with mixed Raffy yarns and stretch yarns in the weft direction. From the choice of material to the sewing, comfort is the top priority in this T-shirt.
Unique shine and unevenness
Raffy yarn is a yarn spun from a mixture of cotton and recycled cotton known as fallen cotton.
KEPANI’s Raffy yarn is made from a blend of ‘Turfan cotton’ and ‘Giza American fallen cotton’.
It is characterized by its luster and the unique wooden feeling which is created by having the unevenness in the black yarn.
“Supple” even after repeated washing
The quality of the Turfan cotton used is one of the world’s three finest, along with Supima cotton from the USA and Giza cotton from Egypt. It is one of the world’s three most luxurious cottons.
Turfan cotton is also known as ‘extra-long cotton’ and is used to make high quality garments as it is made from long fibres that are twisted together to make a fabric that is supple and soft to the touch and will not lose its suppleness after repeated washing. A soft fabric with a grainy appearance
The use of mixed Raffya yarns gives the fabric its unique unevenness and the way the fabric is knitted gives it a fine unevenness, giving it an expressive and rustic feel.
