The crisp and cool cotton-linen fabric is made of 80% cotton and 20% linen. The thin, crispy, cool fabric has a firm, dense texture and is light. The dyeing is done by the same artisans who have worked on hand towels and furoshiki. It is a process that takes time and effort without changing the taste of the fabric itself.
In addition to the sulphide dyeing, we have applied a more uneven dyeing, so that each part of the hat has a different look. This hat has been dyed with a sulphuric dyeing process to give it a more even look.
